Shroff Sr seems to be villain of the season this year in South
After making a terrific debut in Tamil with 2011’s critically acclaimed Aaranya Kaandam, Jackie Shroff seems to have taken a liking for antagonist roles. Shroff Sr also drew a lot of praise for his villainous avatar in Rajinikanth‘s big money spinner Kochadaiiyaan. Now we hear that Jackie wants to continue his villainous streak in Tamil cinema.
A little birdie tells us that Tiger Shroff’s dad is going to join Chiyaan Vikram‘s film Paththu Ennrathukulla. And of course he will play a baddie. Directed by Vijay Milton of Goli Soda fame, the film is said to be along the lines of Jason Statham’s adrenaline driven action flick The Transporter. This means a great news to action lovers as high octane stunts are bound to be an integral part of the film.
Rumours suggest that Jackie has been offered the role of villain to which the seasoned actor has given a nod. While there has been no official confirmation, but we have learnt from reliable sources that Shroff Sr’s inclusion is a surety.
