Kamal Haasan shoots ‘Viswaroopam’ with Anushka

Finally, the Ulaga Nayagan’s magnum opus goes on the floors

Ever since it was announced, Viswaroopam has been plagued by all sorts of problems – from controversies to walkouts and delays. But Kamal Haasan braved them all and has started shooting his ambitious project. According to reports arriving from Kollywood, the shoot has begun in Chennai under Kamal’s direction.

A grand set has reportedly been erected on Old Mahabalipuram Road, and the crew has plans to can a few important scenes in the next few days. After considering big names such as Sonakshi Sinha and Deepika Padukone, Kamal has now finalised Anushka Shetty to play the female lead in the movie. Anushka is reportedly “happy about sharing screen space with the legendary actor”.
