Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam ban lifted in Malaysia

The multi-talented Kamal can now heave a sigh of relief as his magnum opus is due for release in Malaysia too

After facing all sorts of hurdles to release Vishwaroopam, Kamal Haasan is finally a happy man, as the film is now running successfully all over the world. On Tuesday, Kamal had one more reason to smile, when the ban on the movie was lifted in Malaysia. This means the film will now release in Malaysia, where a large number of Tamil people live.

Vishwaroopam, made on a budget of nearly Rs 95 crores, had collected more than Rs 120 crores in the first four days itself at the box office.

Meanwhile, Kamal is busy preparing for Vishwaroopam 2, a sequel to the movie. The film is expected to hit the screens by the end of this year.

Vishwaroopam is written, directed and produced by Kamal, who also plays the lead role in it.
