Following the success of Pokkiri Raja, the two superstars will share screen space in Amal Neerad’s film

Mammootty and Prithviraj have agreed to come together once again, this time for Amal Neerad’s action film. And unlike Pokkiri Raja where they played brothers, Amal has the two of them facing off with each other. So while Mammootty will play the dominant hero, Prithviraj will be the anti-hero.

Amal’s movie will be set in Kerala of the 1950s and is being scripted by Sankar Ramakrishnan (of Urumi fame). Amal confirmed that the two will play the lead characters in the film. The project is being produced by Prithviraj’s banner August Cinema. Considering the fact that Pokkiri Raja went on to become a top grosser in Kerala and may even soon be remade into other languages, it seems Prithviraj has made a wise investment.
