Manoj Manchu to rock in ‘Oo Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’

The actor has recovered from his injuries

After a forced layoff from films due to injuries he sustained on the sets, Manoj Manchu is back on the big screen with the socio fantasy flick Oo Kodathara Ulikki Padathara. Pre-production work on the movie is complete and regular shooting is scheduled to begin sometime later this week. Readers may recall that the movie hit the headlines following actor Tapsee Pannu’s refusal to be a part of the movie.

This angered producer Lakshmi Manchu who lambasted the leading lady for being ungrateful, given that Lakshmi is known to have mentored greenhorn Tapsee when she entered Tollywood. Deeksha Seth is the new leading lady. The movie will be shot at an expansive set near Manikonda in Hyderabad. Called the Gandharva Mahal, this set alone reportedly cost the makers more than Rs 2 crore. The movie is being directed by Sekhar Raja. Veteran star Balakrishna is also a part of the movie that is scheduled to be completed in a month-long schedule.
