As soon as Nandamuri Balakrishna announced his decision to enter politics, the industry was abuzz with the talk about a potential head-on clash with megastar Chiranjeevi, who had also made the actor-to-politician transition

But no one thought that Balakrishna son of legendary actor-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao will go out swinging so early in to his political career and irk Chiru fans. During his visit to Ghantasala, where he unveiled NTR’s statue, Balayya commented that Chiranjeevi started Praja Rajyam Party only in his eagerness to become the CM and not to serve the people.In a scathing attack on the megastar, Balayya also said that Chiru merged PRP with Congress as he was unable to run the party properly. These remarks made Chiranjeevi fans see red. Without losing his composure, Chiru dismissed Balakrishna’s tirade as childish, “His words should not be taken seriously, ” said Chiranjeevi. The legendary actor also said that sincerity is the key to being a good politician and people won’t appreciate politicians who lack this.
