The Dhanush-starrer may hit the screen earlier to avoid box-office clashes
With movies of top stars and filmmakers vying to make it to the screens on Diwali day, the makers of Dhanush’s upcoming venture, Nayyandi, seem to be thinking differently.
If sources are to be believed, they are planning to release the film a couple of weeks before Diwali, in order to avoid a clash at the box-office.
Directed by Sargunam of Kalavani and Vaagai Sooda Va fame, the film set in Kumbakonam is being billed as a comedy entertainer. Nazriya Nazim is the heroine. Ghibran has composed the music and the audio is expected to be released soon. Dhanush plays a lamp-seller in Nayyandi, while Nazriya is cast in the role of a dentist.
