Nikitha ban issue rocks Sandalwood again

The warring couple Darshan and Vijayalakshmi had just smoked the peace pipe in front of the entire media, when a new round of turmoil over the ban on actor Nikitha broke open

According to reports, the Karnataka Film Producers’ Association (KFPA) finds itself in yet another spot over the Nikitha ban issue. It appears that Darshan’s wife has now claimed that she had neither complained to the KFPA about the actor, nor had she sought any ban on her.Readers may recall that the association had banned Nikita for three years as a punishment for her ‘affair’ with Darshan that reportedly led to the actor ill-treating his wife. The ban divided the film fraternity with the old guard supporting it and the newer ones opposing the move. With Vijayalakshmi now suggesting that she had not approached the KFPA to seek a ban, the office bearers of the association are finding it difficult to explain their stand, taken barely 24 hours after Darshan was arrested by the police for misbehaving with his wife.
