It marks the success of the film with a press conference instead of ostentatious celebrations

Hudugru is one of the biggest hits of Sandalwood in recent times, and you would expect that its cast and crew would celebrate by partying hard. But that’s not what they did. No champagne for these guys. Instead, they took the opportunity to organise an elaborate media conference to discuss the success of the movie. So, Puneeth Rajkumar, Srinagar Kitty, Radhika Pandit, director Maadesh, music director Hari Krishna, cameraman Sathya Hegde, dialogue writer Guru Prasad, dance choreographer Imran, Sadhu Kokila, Tabala Naani and Ramya Barne came together to interact with the media and spread their joy. We were wondering why the producer Rajendra Rajkumar opted for this till we heard him say, “This is the first multi-starrer film from our production house. We spent a lot of money on this project. One Jathra song cost us around Rs 60 lakh.” We guess that’s why the Rajkumars decided to go easy on the purse this time and forego a party!
