Ms Pandey may not have got the Bollywood break she desires, but looks like South cinema has opened it’s gates for the bold babe

If all goes well, Poonam Pandey will feature in a special item song in the Kannada version of Dirty Picture starring Veena Malik.The film has been in the news ever since it was first announced. After all the hullabaloo over Pakistan actor Veena Malik being signed for the film, now Poonam Pandey has been roped in to groove to a hot number. Sources say Poonam has allotted dates for the song in August and the item number will be shot on specially created sets.

The sexy siren will be seen in the remix version of the popular number, Nethu ratri yamma from the film Sakala Kalavallavan. The seductive song by Ilaiyaraaja featured Kamal Haasan and Silk Smitha. In the Kannada version of Dirty Picture Akshay and Poonam will be seen romancing in the song. Wonder what Ms Malik had to say about the new addition.
