She wins the Best Actor (Female) award for the third time in a row
Radhika Pandith is on top of the world. She has won the Filmfare Best Actor (Female) Award in the Kannada films category for the third time in a row – this time for Krishnan Love Story.She had earlier bagged the award for the 2008 hit Moggina Manassu and the 2009 blockbuster Love Guru. Radhika has also delivered a great performance in this year’s Hudugaru, making her a strong contender to take the black lady home for a fourth time.
The award for the Best Actor (Male) in the Kannada category went to Shivaraj Kumar for his performance in Thamassu. Dr Vishnuvardhan’s last film Aptha Rakshaka bagged three awards – Avinash won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role Award, Dr SP Balasubramaniam bagged the Best Playback (Male) Award and Kaviraj was declared the Best Lyricist Award (both for Garane garagarane).
