That the Superstar is an ardent devotee of Sri Raghavendra is a well known fact

Now, Rajinikanth has donated Rs 10 crore to the popular shrine of Sri Raghavendra in Mantralaya.According to a press note from the temple authorities, the old buildings to the rear of the Sarvagnya Mandir would be dismantled and 25 fresh A/C cottages and 100 general rooms would be constructed, using the amount donated by Rajini.

The officials added that there are plans to set up a garden with the remaining funds. It is to be noted that Rajinikanth visits the temple often to get the blessings of Sri Raghavendra.

In fact, his 100th film was a biopic on the great saint. The Superstar is now gearing up for his next mega budget movie, Kochadaiyaan directed by his daughter Soundarya R Ashwin, which is slated to hit the screens on his birthday. We wish him all the luck!
