Before we bring the good news for Rajinikanth fans, it is prayer time. The Superstar and his family offered prayers at the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Wednesday night. India’s supposedly highest paid actor said he was on a thanksgiving visit to the temple town after recovering from an ailment recently. Talking to journalists, Rajini said, “I am thankful to all my fans who prayed for me while I was undergoing treatment. By the grace of God, I am fine now and took part in the shoot of RA.One. Doctors advised me to rest for another three months before I resume shooting for Rana. This is a thanksgiving visit to the Lord. My Deepavali wishes to all.” Rajinikanth, an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara, was accompanied by his wife Latha, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya, sons-in-law Dhanush and Ashwin, grandsons Linga and Yathra besides Telugu superstar and longtime friend Mohan Babu. A huge turnout of devotees thronged the temple to have a glimpse of the Superstar. Fool-proof security arrangements were made by the temple authorities. “Four guest houses were kept ready for Rajini and his family members,” sources said.
