Rajinikanth’s ‘Sivaji’ goes to Tokyo Film Festival

Everyone knows that Rajinikanth has a huge fan base in Japan

Nearly all Superstar Rajini‘s films that were released in Japan have been hits, with his fans thronging the cinema halls to watch their idol in action.The latest is that Sivaji, the 2007 super hit of the Superstar, will be screened at the Tokyo Film Festival from September 14 to 16. Shriya Saran, the heroine of Sivaji, will be participating in the event as a special guest. It was also recently announced that the music release of Rajinikanth’s forthcoming film Kochadaiyaan will take place in Tokyo.

Confirming this in a press release, Eros International, which is producing this multi-crore, multi-lingual extravaganza said, “Multi-city premieres of the film are being planned across Los Angeles, London and India. The film is scheduled to release towards the end of the year.”
