Ram Charan announced his marriage plans some weeks ago to long-time girlfriend Upasana Kamineni. A grand ceremony for the exchange of rings is being planned at the historic Domakonda Fort in Nizamabad.Megastar Chiranjeevi, the happy father-in-law-to-be has tweeted about the engagement though he does not mention a proper date. “Ram Charan’s engagement will be held before the 2nd of next month,” is all that he says in the tweet.  The list of special invitees is said to include hotshot politicians from across parties active in the state including the Congress, BJP, TRS and the Telugu Desam. The superstar and his wife even went to the gubernatorial residence to invite Mr ESL Narasimhan.
