Ram Charan Teja tries where papa Chiranjeevi failed

The Magadheera actor is hoping to make his mark in Mollywood

This Friday, Ram Charan Teja will know if he has managed to do what his father Chiranjeevi couldn’t do. Maaveeran and Dheera, the dubbed Tamil and Malayalam versions of his super hit Telugu movie Magadheera, will hit the screens this weekend. Ram has high expectations from this magnum opus, as it is his way to make a mark in Malayalam cinema. Chiranjeevi is a star in Tamil cinema, but he was unable to make the same impact in Mollywood. Malayalam cinema is currently being ruled by Ram’s cousin Allu Arjun. Incidentally, Allu is presenting the dubbed Malayalam version.

Of course, Ram is confident that both Maaveeran and Dheera will make it big. “It has everything a film buff would want to see. Maaveeran is a movie to see and enjoy,” he says.

The film also has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role. Kajal, who is currently busy with the Hindi remake of Singham, is quietly confident of the success of the dubbed versions.
