The latest RGV factory production, the action entertainer Bejawada was engulfed in controversies from the beginning. According to the latest buzz, the film’s release date has now been postponed.The film was rechristened after the earlier title Bejawada Rowdilu came under fire from the locals. The director claimed that he was getting threats from a local don, who in response said that he doesn’t care enough about RGV to even call him, let alone threaten him. The film which is based on the ‘rowdyism’ in Vijayawada during the 90s stars southern babe Amala Paul opposite Naga Chaitanya. The cast also includes Prabhu, Anjana Sukhani, Abhimanyu Singh, Mukul Dev, Kota Srinivas Rao, Dr Brahmanandam, Ajay, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Satya Prakash, Ashok Kumar, Sravan, Lakshmi and Rahul. As of the now, the film has only been postponed for two days from November 24 to November 26. According to insiders, Varma is chopping off some scenes from the film to make it shorter and crisper. With all the hype about the film, let’s hope RGV doesn’t disappoint his audience.
