Rana Daggubati to do Vetrimaran’s Tamil film

Dum Maaro Dum‘s Joki Fernandes aka Rana Daggubati who is a known face in the Telugu film industry now makes a foray into Tamil films with Vada Chennai

The hot and happening hunk Rana Daggubati, who is currently alternating between Bollywood and Tollywood, will soon be seen in National Award winning filmmaker Vetrimaran’s next venture. The film is titled Vada Chennai, which is set to hit the floors soon. Rana will be featured in the movie along with Simbu. “It’s actually a dual hero subject and Vetrimaran wanted to keep this a secret. Now that the film is set to hit the floors soon, he has confirmed that Rana Daggubati, a popular actor in Telugu, will share the screen space with Simbu,” say sources.  “In fact, director Vetrimaran wanted to make this film his maiden venture, but he put it on hold due to various reasons,” sources added further. Andrea Jeremiah and Divya will reportedly be the leading ladies Vada Chennai. The film will be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri under the banner of Cloud Nine Movies. Vada Chennai will have music by GV Prakash Kumar. Let’s hope the actor manages to create the same magic in Tamil films like he did in the Hindi and Telugu film industry.
