The film has been billed as Telugu actor Rana’s biggest project yet, in scope and ambition, and it will be showcased over 1000 screens across the world on November 30

The bilingual film in Telugu and Tamil, is likely to outnumber Aamir Khan’s Bollywood film Talaash in terms of screens in South India, according to Telugu film industry sources. Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum will be seen in more theatres than Talaash in Andhra Pradesh and in equal number of screens in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

The action-adventure drama releasing today is directed by Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi, popularly known as Krish. In the movie, Rana is paired opposite Nayanthara, who plays a journalist. If rumours are to be believed Rana has done most of the daredevil scenes without using a body double. The actor made his debut with Leader and his performance earned him much acclaim. In a career span of just three years, he has acted in Nenu Na Rakshasi and Naa Ishtam and Hindi movies Dum Maaro Dum and Department. He, however, is still looking for a big hit at the box office.

Owing to strong buzz, the pre-bookings for Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum and Talaash have opened well. Both Aamir and Rana are known for innovative and extensive promotions of their movies. Guess the box office numbers will finally reveal which movie did better than the other.
