Sekhar Kammula upset with Nayanthara for not attending Anamika music launch?

All’s well between Ananmika actor and the film’s director

Sekhar Kammula has denied rumours that he was upset with actor Nayanthara for not attending the recent audio launch of his film Anamika, southern remake of Kahaani. He says everything is fine between them.

“I have immense respect for Nayanthara as an actor. She’s a thorough professional and she couldn’t attend the audio launch due to sudden commitments. I was not upset with her about it and everything between us is fine,” Kammula told in an interview.

“She will start promoting the film this week. I’m extremely happy with the way the film has come out. I’m excited as well as nervous about the release,” he added.

The southern actress reprises the role of Bollywood actor Vidya Balan in Anamika, which will release May 1 worldwide in Tamil and Telugu.

The film also features Vaibhav Reddy, Pasupathy and Harshvardhan Rane in important roles.
