Shaam plays cop in Ravi Teja's 'Veera'

The actor joins hands with the same team that gave him such success

Tamil actor Shaam is on a roll these days. He has four releases lined up for 2011, and is all set to take his career to new heights. News is that he is playing the role of a police officer in Ravi Teja’s Veera. The film, directed by Ramesh Varma, will be released in June.

Shaam played the role of an investigative cop in Ravi Teja’s 2009 superhit Kick and then reprised the role in the Tamil remake, titled Thillalangadi, in 2010. Both films received mixed reviews, but his performance was praised. Now Shaam joins hands with the same team that gave him such success.

Veera stars Ravi Teja in the lead along with three heroines: Tapasee Pannu, Kajal Aggarwal and Sri Devi. Thaman is handling the music.

Shaam also has a major solo release this year with director Venugopal’s Kshetram, where he plays a Casanova character opposite Priyamani.Subscribe to me on YouTube
