Rumour has it that these top actors from youth brigade are being considered to star in remake of Malayalam blockbuster
Malayalam cinema has the habit of churning one blockbuster after another. After Mohanlal’s Drishayam being remade into all the three major languages down south, Bangalore Days seems to have become a new trendsetter in the world of remakes. The hot news of PVP cinemas and Dil Raju attaining the remake rights of Bangalore Days has been welcomed with open arms by fans. The film is now said to be remade in Telugu,Tamil and Hindi.
Producers are inclined to cast actors who can pull off the roles in Telugu as well as Tamil. Speculations and guesses had started flying thick and fast on who should star in the remake. Well, the little birdie chirped that considering the youth oriented subject, makers are considering names of Siddharth, Samantha, Naani and Naga Chaitanya for the lead roles. Though Siddharth and Samantha are established stars in Tollywood and Kollywood, Naani and Naga Chaitanya, who are popular in Telugu cinema might get a chance to build a fan base in Tamil Nadu.
Malayalam blockbuster Bangalore Days is the biggest money spinner of 2014 in Mollywood starring Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil, Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim, Parvathy Menon, Isha Talwar and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. Grapevine has it that none of the stars who are being considered for the remake have watched Bangalore Days, so producer Dil Raju is holding a special screening for the stars.
Well, fans are excited about the star cast and we hope that makers can rope in these talented actors together to make the remake a starry affair.
