Siddharth opts out of Malayalam flick

The actor has no dates to spare

Thanks to the enormous box-office success of Allu Arjun flicks in Kerala, many Tollywood stars have started testing the Mollywood filmdom. Siddharth, who has quite a few fans in Kerala, was even ready to do a Malayalam movie but things didn’t work out.

Commenting on the episode, Siddharth tweeted: “Desperately trying to allocate dates for five films in three languages in the next eight months. Total madness but I hope I manage to pull it off. Kerala fans, sorry guys. I was supposed to do a Malayalam film but had to back out because of date issues. Hopefully, next year!”

Siddharth is gearing up for the release of the bilingual 180, directed by veteran ad film maker Jayendra. The success of 180 is crucial to the box-office standing of Sid, whose Anaganaga O Dheerudu was a washout.Subscribe to me on YouTube
