Ex-cricketer confirmed that he would be starring in a romantic film soon
After being banned from all forms of cricket, due to spot fixing allegations, Sreesanth has managed to keep himself upbeat one way or another. The Kochi pacer, who recently got married, is gearing up to try a hand at acting with a Telugu flick. The cricketer, who was in Hyderabad yesterday, confirmed about the details of his visit to the city.
“Well, I was in Hyderabad to meet a couple of directors like Puri bhai (Puri Jagannadh), Madhura Sreedhar and others. I had a fruitful discussion with all of them about films, Tollywood and how it works. Moreover, Madhura is not making a movie on my life, but a romantic love story. It’s a story of a middle-class cricketer and I was approached to play the lead. So, we spoke at length about the film and other stuff. I can’t reveal more details right now, as I want him to announce the project, may be in a week or so. All I can say is that you’ll see me acting soon”, said Sreesanth to a leading new daily.
Apart from participating in reality dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the tainted ex-cricketer is also composing music for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film. It looks like Sreesanth is keeping himself busy with TV and films. “I miss playing cricket very badly, but that shouldn’t stop my life, right?” signed off Sreesanth. Lets hope that the eccentric ex-pacer keeps himself aloof from controversies, unlike his cricketing days.
