The veteran actor made a strong comeback with English Vinglish, which became a mega hit across the globe
Sridevi portrayed a homemaker called Sashi, who is ridiculed by her husband and children for not knowing English.“In real life, I am a straight contrast to Sashi. Because my husband and children love and respect me a lot. But I have seen many women who resemble Sashi,” says Sridevi.
A popular heroine of Kollywood and Tollywood in 1980s, Sridevi migrated to Bollywood and became the numero uno actor there, before she took a break from acting thanks to her marriage with Boney Kapoor. “My world revolves around my husband and my children. We love each other a lot. I missed my kids while shooting for English Vinglish,” says this loving wife and caring mother.
We are glad the actor has finally made a comeback. News is that Sridevi is soon set to start working on another movie with a husband.

One of the best movies I have seen, as the others are Lamke, Chandni, Chaalbaaz and scores of Tamil movies with her as heroine. I need to see EV yet again to enjoy more.
