Srikanth has high hopes for ‘Paagan’

Paagan, Srikanth’s comeback venture as hero, will hit the screens in less than 24 hours

Directed by newcomer Mohammed Aslam, a former associate of Ameer, the film has Janani Iyer of Avan Ivan as the leading lady.“It is a laugh riot and I can’t wait to see the response of the audience,” says the actor. The story is set against the backdrop of Erode, the textile capital of Tamil Nadu.

“Though it is a hilarious film, Paagan comes with a beautiful message,” says Srikanth, adding: “Aslam is a real taskmaster and I am sure he will go places in Kollywood.” Srikanth, who was part of hit movies such as Roja Koottam and April Madhathil, was not active on screen for some time till the multi-starrer Nanban, directed by Shankar, happened earlier this year. The music of the film is given by James Vasanthan.
