It took six directors and 10 cameramen to do it
Kiccha Sudeep’s Karnataka Bulldozers may not have taken home the Celebrity Cricket League trophy, but he does have something to cheer about. His film Police Story 3 was shot in a record time of 12 hours. Sudeep plays a police officer in the film. Thriller Manju directed the flick with able assistance from six directors and 10 cameramen. The camera was switched on at 6 am at Bengaluru palace and was switched off at 6 pm. Manju had actually planned to finish the flick within 10 hours but rain disrupted and delayed the shoot by two hours. The film focuses on the important role police officers play in metro cities such as Bengaluru. Though Sudeep enacts a key role in the flick, the director has played the lead role. “Since three is my lucky number and the script suited my image, I decided to write, direct and act,” says Manju. The film will be released by July-end.
