Tamil superstar, Suriya was born on July 23, 1975
For all his glamour and stardom Tamil actor Suriya is, at his core, the quintessential family man. No wonder then he’s decided to spend his 37th birthday today with dad Sivakumar and mom, wife Jyothika and two kids – Diya and Dev. Of course, bro Karthi will join him in the quiet family celebrations, too. Suriya’s fans have planned blood donation camps and charities to mark their idols’s birthday and the star actor will make his presence felt at these. But there’ll be no pomp and ceremony, we hear.
The actor has been extremely busy, working on the very challenging Maatran in which he plays conjoined twins. Apparently, it’s one of his best performances till date. Suriya has, of course, been juggling roles in masala flicks such as Singam with challenging and off-beat roles in films such as 7aum Arivu. Meanwhile, he’s had to find time to host Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi, the Tamil version of Kaun Banega Crorepati. He’s gotten better and better on the small screen and won himself a whole new fan base.
