The star turns 25 today

As Tapsee Pannu (born August 1, 1987) brings in her 25th birthday today, the pretty lass has plenty to celebrate. For who would imagine that after a just a few modelling assignments, she would hit the big league in Kollywood and Tollywood?

Last year’s National Film Award-winning film, Aadukalam, vaulted her into the limelight for her portrayal of an Anglo-Indian girl. Other offers followed, such as Mr Perfect and Veera in Telugu and Vandhan Vendran in Tamil. This year also began with a bang, with the big-budget Daruvu. She’s also shooting for Marandhen Mannithaen in Tamil, and Gundello Godari and Shadow in Telugu. Coming up is an untitled project with Ajith in the lead and directed by Vishnuvardhan. With all that work, wonder where she gets the time for romance. Remember the recent tinsel town brawl involving Manchu Manoj and Mahat Maghavendra? Her name had been dragged into it as the alleged cause of the fistfight. Taapsee issued a statement clearing her position and it seems she is back to work now. Here’s wishing the busy gal a very happy birthday.
