Vijay to do a cameo in the Hindi remake of ‘Thuppakki’

On completing the Vijay-starrer Thuppakki, AR Murugadoss will remake the film in Hindi

The remake of the Southern action thriller Thuppakki will have Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Interestingly, Vijay made a cameo appearance in Akshay’s latest release, Rowdy Rathore. And now, Murugadoss says he is planning to request Vijay to do a similar appearence in the Hindi remake of Thuppakki too. In the Tamil version, Vijay is playing a Mumbai-based man – Jagadeesh. “The story is about a sudden turn in his life and how he emerges triumphant after the challenges thrown at him,” says A R Murugadoss, who is directing the movie. The Nanban actor is paired opposite Kajal Aggarwal in the film.

The filmmaker adds: “Kajal plays a girl who also hails from a Tamil family, but is settled in Mumbai. We have shot the film in some of the busy locales of the business capital. Vijay co-operated extremely well.” With Akshay doing the Hindi remake, we wonder if Kajal will reprise her role in the remake.
