What do Sudeep, Darshan and Upendra have in common?
All three are playing legendary characters in their upcoming flicks
Sandalwood is gearing up to host three blue-blooded flicks in quick succession. Call it amazing coincidence or a ploy to outdo each other, but the fact remains that three of the leading actors of Kannada film industry – Kiccha Sudeep, Darshan and Upendra – will play legendary characters in their upcoming movies.Sudeep has agreed to play the title role of a legendary Kannada king in Vishnuvardhana. Darshan will star as Rayanna, the legendary warrior from Kannada folklore in Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna, while Upendra will star in and as Dalavayi Muddanna. Sudeep and Darshan’s films will release in the coming months, while Upendra’s flick will hit the screens next year. So while they fight battles onscreen, we can only wait and watch to see who will win the battle for the audience’s hearts.
