Janmashtami style: B-town goes blue, green and black

Blue, green and black are  colours we associate with Lord Krishna. Every Janmashtami, these colours resurface in our minds and our wardrobes

And Bollywood movies add their touch – so many films have celebrated the festival with fanfare and, when we go back to those amazing dahi-handi songs in praise of Krishna, it’s truly a delightful blast from the ever-present past. B-town may be highly controversial and known for its incorrigible behaviour, but imagining a single day without entertainment seems so hard to digest. As we associate Gokulashtami with celebration, gratitude and respect, here’s a small homage we pay to Bollywood by picking some Bollywood style divas and showing how they don the colours of Krishna…
