Akshaye Khanna, happy birthday!

The Gali Gali Chor Hai actor, who turns 37 today, has gone into oblivion lately. With no release lined up in the near future, we wonder when we will get to watch him create magic on the big screen again

Fifteen years ago, Akshaye Khanna started his career with Himalaya Putra – it was a launch most newbies dream of. Wonderful songs, big budget, backed by his father Vinod Khanna. Madhuri Dixit Nene is back in Mumbai and gearing up to return to Bollywood. However, she and her fans will have to wait for that to happen. It’s not for the lack of films. Producers are more than eager to cast her. The problem is that Madhuri is demanding Rs 5 crore for a film! She has made it very clear to filmmakers that she is no less than a Kareena Kapoor or a Katrina Kaif as an actor and there is no reason for her to charge lesser than them. Click here to read more

What’s keeping Madhuri Dixit busy?

The dhak dhak girl is finally in Mumbai with her family for good. While Madhuri Dixit is taking her own sweet time to settle in, she is being flooded with offers. The 44-year-old actor had migrated to Denver after her marriage with Dr Shriram Madhav Nene. Year 2007, Madhuri made a comeback with YRF’s Aaja Nachle. While the film tanked at the box office, Madhuri was welcomed back with open arms. The actor who is now being very picky about her next film also has other things on her mind. “Back in Mumbai! At Taj on Fri for Emeralds for Elephants. Busy settling in. Boys still jet lagging. What is the best school in Mumbai,” Madhuri posted on the micro-blogging site, Twitter. We guess the right school for the kids is top priority at the moment. Take your time Madhuri while we eagerly wait to see you on screen again!

Madhuri Dixit-Nene is coming home to Mumbai!

The dhak-dhak girl is all grown up and is now a wife and mummy. And now, after many years in the US she is coming back to the city that made her famous, bag, baggage and family!

She left India in 1999 to settle in Denver, Colorado, with the man of her dreams, Dr Sriram Nene. And she spent her time raising her two sons, Arin and Ryan, being an ordinary person who could drive to the grocery store without attracting fan mobs and, famously, learning how to cook.
