Yes, just one eye, and a part of a baby-soft forehead. But they are touting it as the first available-to-the-public photo of Aaradhya! Almost two months after Beti B was born, the Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan are yet to come up with a name for her. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek had asked their fans for suggestions and Abhishek’s Twitter account was full of possible names for the past few weeks. While everyone’s still mum about the final name, Abhishek’s close friend spilled the beans on their plans. The Bachchans have narrowed down their options to two names and both begin with double A. Abhi and Ash have approved the names and now it is up to the senior Bachchan to decide which will better suit Beti B, or Bitiya – as Big B likes to call her. The buzz is also that the name will be officially announced only on Makar Sankranti, which falls on January 15 this year. The period till then is supposedly very inauspicious. Ahem.

Ashutosh Gowariker is on cloud nine these days. Having directed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in his ambitious project Jodhaa Akbar and Abhishek Bachchan in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, the versatile director has now roped in the patriarch of the Bachchan family, Big B himself! The Lagaan director is quite happy to have Amitabh Bachchan working in his next untitled film which is touted to be a big thriller. If reports are to be believed Amitabh will be playing a high-profile detective in this film. It’s a story revolving around two detectives unravelling a dark mystery, but Ashutosh is unsure about casting the second detective as he is doubtful anyone can match Amitabh’s acting skills and on-screen charisma. Well, Ashutosh can approach a certain Nana Patekar, wethinks! Remember the crackling chemistry the duo had produced in Mehul Kumar’s Kohram?
