Legendary filmmaker Ramesh Sippy will be directing a film after a gap of 16 years and this has created quite a buzz in B-town. Best known for his cult classic, Sholay, this time, he is set to helm a romantic film. Confirming the news, he said, “Yes, I am working on my next project. It’s going to be a romantic film. I am very excited with the way the script is shaping up and am looking forward to starting the casting process.” Sippy’s last three films – Bhrashtachar, Akayla and Zamaana Deewana were nowhere close to his previous successes and it was said that he has lost his Midas touch. Sippy Sr is still writing the film which is yet untitled, he will begin casting only after he locks the script.
