The Bachchan family had some anxious moments after someone broke into their house Jalsa. “Spent some anxious moments yesterday since we had a break in! The guy was caught and is with the police now under investigation. Seems like a professional, for he had entered the most sensitive area of the house, Jalsa,” Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog srbachchan.tumblr.com, Saturday. “Cops and security are in over drive now. In the end nothing is secure, irrespective of how much precaution one takes,” he added. According to the police, the thief stole Rs 8,000 from the house.
Located in Juhu, Amitabh’s two houses, Jalsa and Prateeksha are located at a distance of one kilometre from each other. While Amitabh lives in Jalsa with wife Jaya, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, and Bachchan’s younger brother Ajitabh live in Prateeksha.Click here to read more
