There were not many good candidates this year to fight for the best male debut award in a Bollywood film. We had nominated Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, both for Student Of The Year; Arjun Kapoor for Ishaqzaade, Ayushmann Khurrana for Vicky Donor, Prithviraj Sukumaran for Aiyyaa and Pulkit Samrat for Bittoo Boss.
