If the one positive thing that has come out of the archaic love story Ekk Deewana Tha is that the film’s heroine, British beauty pageant winner Amy Jackson, has taken to saris like fish does to water. Perhaps looking at her ease and grace with which she’s carrying the Indian garb in the film, well-known designer Bhairavi Jaikishan got her to be the showstopper for her bridal collection show at the Lakme Fashion Week. Mallika Sherawat to be the showstopper at India Bridal Week
Mallika Sherawat is now set to walk the ramp as the showstopper for designer couple Anjalee Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor on Friday at the Aamby Valley India Bridal Week. Titled The Phantom of the Opera, the show will have Mallika flaunting an outfit with coloured gemstones. The collection boasts of a blend between the Mughal and Victorian era. Mallika has apparently charged a whooping amount to walk for the designer duo. The Aamby Valley India Bridal Week will showcase the work of India’s leading designers’ work of art, design and glamour. The line up of designers this year include Adarsh Gill, Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor, Bhairavi Jaikishan, Jyotsna Tiwari, Neeta Lulla, Pallavi Jaikishan, Queenie Singh, Rocky S, Shane & Falguni, Tarun Tahiliani and Vikram Phadnis.
