Latest reports suggest that almost all sections, ranging from production, distribution and exhibition of Malayalam films, have been paralysed by the ongoing strikes in the industry. All the mid-November releases have been postponed to Christmas. A Bollywood production house is reaching God’s Own Filmdom (Kerala). And it is casting a Malayalam superstar in its next project. Mohanlal will be a cop in UTV Motion Pictures’ venture to be directed by B Unnikrishnan.
