Pakistani actor-singer Ali Zafar stars with our very own Aditi Rao Hydari in London Paris New York
Rom-coms are back in Bollywood and how. The latest is Fox Star Studios and Rose Movies’ London Paris New York, starring Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari. The film marks the directorial debut of Anu Menon aka Lola Kutty of Channel [V] who has been trained at the London Film School. Also, Ali Zafar debuts as music composer and lyricist in the film.
Capturing the angst of the young twenties, London Paris New York is the story of Nikhil and Lalitha, two completely different individuals who are drawn to each other in spite of their differences or perhaps because of it. The film follows their journey of love as they meet in London, Paris and New York for a night in each city. The film releases March 2, 2012.Click on to see stills from London Paris New York. After a long time we hear the Mausam actor has signed her next film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. But it is the only film she has on her plate. And we wonder why!
Unlike the current breed of actors, Sonam Kapoor has been extremely slow in taking up new films. For example, Deepika Padukone (Om Shanti Om) and Sonam (Sawaariya)’s first film released on the same day, yet, the model-turned-actor has more films in her kitty than the fashionista. Deepika has churned out 10 films, whereas Sonam has had only six releases. The Mausam actor may say she believes in quality over quantity, but we have our doubts. Barring Abbas Mastaan’s Players which releases in January 2012 and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag opposite Farhan Akhtar, there isn’t any film on her plate. Click here to read more

Especially now that he’s got Farhan Akhtar to play the lead role. Yes, he’s got Sonam Kapoor to play the female lead role, but sorry, it just doesn’t pique our interest that much. So, as we were saying, the film will be shot in mid-2012 and we hear that Farhan is preparing for the role with gusto. Click here to read more
