As Ranbir chooses styling as one of the routes to promote his new film Rockstar, there’s a whole new breed of fashion lovers aping the actor’s style and flaunting it with a with a sense of infectious confidence. Short kurtas and patiala pants teamed with cool aviators are the talk of this stylish town and accessorising is not merely a girly or a Goan thing any more. Aki Narula is the brainchild behind Ranbir’s look and he has apparently handpicked clothes from the local shops of Prague and Delhi. A very assorted style, the designer has mixed and matched various elements but stuck to the raw flavour imperative for the Kapoor kid’s character in the movie. Setting trends isn’t as easy as it looks. Along with having the courage of coming with an out-and-out new look, one must also have the ability to carry it off and inspire people to follow it. The spunky Kajol did it with her red overalls in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.  Kareena Kapoor was a perfect prototype combining patiala pants with T-shirts in Jab We Met.
