The movie is a remake of a Malayalam film starring Mohanlal

There are unconfirmed reports that superstar Upendra’s next venture will be titled Gandhinagara Mahatme. Our sources tell us that producer Muniratna has already cast Upendra with Prem in key roles and is now looking for the leading ladies and a director.
