Yes, there is an overdose of songs and the lyrics are quite ordinary but the extensive use of loops and electronic beats that made Himesh a household name do the trick for the soundtrack. Looks like plenty of B-townies are getting attracted to the small screen and the newest one treading on this path is Ayesha Takia Azmi! The last we saw her was in Nagesh Kukunoor’s Mod after which she sort of vanished. According to rumours, Ayesha wasn’t just sitting whiling her time away. The babelicious actor was busy getting ready for musical reality show. With Rs 85 lakh as her signing amount, Ayesha takes on the role of the anchor on the show, and will share screen space with music mentors Himesh Reshammiya and Atif Aslam along with judges Suresh Wadkar, Runa Laila and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Not bad! After marrying longtime boyfriend Farhan Azmi, Ayesha wasn’t really doing much for the big screens. So maybe it is the right time to explore smaller territories. Not that TV is small anymore. With biggies like Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan vying for the top spot on television, it’s only fair to call it the ‘big move’ for Ayesha.

Himesh Reshamiya surprises his father on his birthday!
Himesh Reshamiya, recently, threw a party at a suburban club for his father Vipin Reshamiya on the occasion of his 75th birthday. Senior Reshamiya was quite thrilled about it, but only till his son arrived at the venue. Himesh entered the party not with his wife Komal, but with his girl friend Sonia Kapoor instead. His father didn’t know how to react and the whole situation got quite awkward. Himesh and Sonia have been dating since 2006, but last year there were reports that the two had split. Looks like all’s well between the lovebirds now. In fact, Sonia and Himesh are still living together while his wife and son live on a different floor in the same building. Anyway, looks like Himesh’s father wouldn’t forget this birthday party in a hurry!
