Even as Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 5 came to an end, Amitabh Bachchan is still making news. Well, not just because of Baby B, but because he’s the favourite non-fiction character on television! According to ninth edition of Ormax Media’s quarterly study Characters India loves (CIL), Amitabh Bachchan (Kaun Banega Crorepati) and Ram Kapoor (Bade Achhe Lagte Hain) are the nations favourite non-fiction and fiction characters on television respectively. Big B leads the non-fiction list with 57 percent in the CIL study conducted in October in six cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Indore and Jalandhar). In the fiction category, Ram Kapoor got 12 percent votes beating close competitor Dilip Joshi (Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma) and Sakshi Tanwar (Bade Achhe Lagte Hain) among others. Well, if we see, both the shows with favourite characters are from Sony Entertainment Television. Lately, the channel has launched two new fiction shows after KBC-5. Looks like Sony is high on popularity charts with its unique shows.
