As the Tamil song Kolavari di is topping the popularity charts, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is wondering whether he actually loves the song or it’s just a phase? “I am confused about whether I like koloveri song becos I like it or becos everybody else likes it,” he posted on Twitter page. This song is rendered by Tamil star Dhanush for his film 3. The film is the directorial debut of his wife Aishwarya (Rajinikanth’s elder daughter). Kolaveri di which, according to Dhanush has nonsensical lyrics, has got a million hits so far on YouTube. It is on its way to becoming a youth anthem, with even Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tweeting about how much they like it.

After Amitabh Bachchan, son Abhishek is also on to the Kolaveri trip. He likes the song Why this Kolaveri di so much that he has tweeted to the young music composer, Anirudh Ravichander. Abhishek, whose Twitter handle is @juniorbachchan, says, “hi anirudh. Just got ur handle. Kolaveri di is outstanding. Very well done!!! You just made me a huge fan. All the best. AB”. Anirudh (@anirudhravichan) has in turn thanked Jr Bachchan, saying, “Thank you so much sir! :) Im honored :)”. Amitabh Bachchan also had recently tweeted, “Just heard #Kolaveri after much talk on it … its so original and catchy ..congrats Dhanush and Aishwarya (Rajni’s daughter) .. love”. Looks like this 21-one-year-old lad is gonna go a long way!
