The Bhatts have said this one is not a sequel to Aashiqui, but a retelling of a love story. But does it work, even with the title adding value?
When we first heard about Aashiqui 2 we, like almost everyone else, thought it would be a sequel to the first, which made Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal instant stars. Aashiqui 2‘s lead stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor are the latest to enter the Bollywood sweethearts club, with the film’s promos and songs a huge hit already. The two hotties joined the movie’s team at the Vishesh Films office in celebrating the success of Aashiqui 2‘s music. Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt tweeted this picture of the film’s director Mohit Suri along with Aditya, Shraddha and producer Pooja Bhatt.
