Vishal Bhardwaj has managed a casting coup of sorts by getting Imran Khan to act opposite Anushka Sharma in his dream project Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola. Yes, the two will come together for the first time in the 7 Khoon Maaf director’s dream project. A birdie told us that Pankaj Kapur, who had recently turned director with Mausam, is playing the part of Bijli’s father Mandola. MKBKM is the first time Vishal is attempting a comedy. There has been much buzz about Imran playing a villager for the first time, but you never know, under Vishal’s keen eye, Imran might just manage to surprise us.
