Why did Bipasha Basu refuse to work with Emraan Hashmi?

Now pairing up with the serial kisser of B-town for the new Raaz 3, some years ago the Bong bombshell turned down the offer to work with the Jannat actor. No, it had nothing to do with the ‘kissathon’ Emraan is notorious for!

Though the prospect of kissing her male co-actor for a film gives Bipasha Basu nervous jitters, a possible lip-lock was not the reason why the gal refused to work with Emraan Hashmi some years ago. The dusky bombshell was skeptical of being paired with Emraan for Raaz 3 and if you ask her why, Bipasha doesn’t mince words. Click here to read more

Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi….what makes them work?

Good looks is not always a guarantee for box office success. Some of the biggest names in Bollywood have…err…unconventional faces. Can Aazaan’s hero Sachiin Joshi write a similar success story?

He’s short, stout and beefy. He is neither eye-candy nor does he come from a filmi background. Sachiin Joshi, who just made his B-town debut with Aazaan, is nowhere close to being hero material, but he is still playing one in the action thriller that released on Friday to some positive reviews. Bollywood is replete with stories of unconventional-looking men who came into the world of movies in search of that elusive trophy called ‘success’. Most of them never did more than one not-especially-significant film, but some, in spite of their obvious limitations in the looks department, soared to starry heights. Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster review: Heady mix of passion, power and politics

A wonderfully gripping trip into the hinterland where life is cheap, death is free and sex comes at a premium. Be ready to cheer and whistle as this one comes with punchlines galore

The best thing about director Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster (SBG) is the fact that it is placed in a milieu that he is well-versed with; the language, the look and the characters, all rarely seen on the big screen, make this film a treat to watch. Click here to read more

MURDER 2 REVIEW: Watch it, but watch out!

It’s all about sex on the big screen, but the latest in the Murder franchise has added a big dollop of thrills, chills and bloody death

Emraan Hashmi: ‘Murder 2′ gets darker and edgier

He has been stuck with the tag of ‘serial kisser’, but Emraan Hashmi doesn’t mind that one bit. And one thing’s for sure, he has slowly and steadily become a brand in himself— his songs and movies are promoted as ‘Emraan Hashmi songs and films’, and he has his own respectably large fan audience. He talks to us about being an understated actor despite successful films and the overt sensuality in his upcoming film, Murder 2

Murder 2 has some overtly sensual scenes between Jacqueline Fernandes and you, and it’s been promoted as the steamiest film in town… We’ve shot a lot of portions in Goa and we do have a lot of intimate portions. Murder was in the area of sensuality and lust, but Murder 2 gets darker. It’s more in the edgy thriller space. Click here to read more
