Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Mausam’ withdrawn from Toronto film festival
Pankaj Kapur’s directorial debut starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor has been withdrawn from the prestigious Toronto film festival’s screening line-up. The organisers released a statement stating that the film could not be screened in Toronto, as it had not received necessary approvals from India yet. There was a delay to receive approvals from the Indian Air Force and Film Board. The Toronto film festival had planned to screen
Mausam three nights in a row starting Thursday, which was to be followed by a press conference. But the whole schedule was called off at the last minute. In the film Shahid plays an IAF pilot whose love for Sonam Kapoor is thwarted by their religious differences. Pankaj Kapur’s directorial is set to release all over India this Friday.
