Prem Raj, the director of the upcoming film Ishkq in Paris starring Preity Zinta, was bereaved on Sunday, October 21, as his father Raj Soni passed away in the morning in Mumbai. The filmmaker who debuted with the Salman Khan-starrer Main Aur Mrs Khanna was consoled by the star and producer of his film Preity, who tweeted, “My heart goes out 2 my director Prem Raj & Family who lost their Father this morning! God give peace 2 his soul & strength 2 the family. RIP”. What makes Prem Raj’s bereavement more of a shocker is that his movie starring Preity is supposed to release on November 2, even as a terrible tragedy has struck the filmmaker.
